HTHSOE and Partnering SchoolsOver the past few weeks, we have partnered with World Video Bible School, the Southwest School of Bible Studies, the Texas School of Preaching, and Heritage Christian University. We have trained over 50 students, including preachers, elders, deacons, and Saints. We love working with the Kingdom schools because they multiply our efforts. Due to the generous contributions of Christians and congregations, we are able to provide each student with a material package. We are thankful to the directors/presidents of each of these schools for the trust they place in us to faithfully train their students. Over the past 8 years, these students will fill pulpits around the Kingdom and use what they learned to reach the lost. In addition, some will call on HTHSOE to come and train their congregation. We currently work with 12 Kingdom schools. The schools are important for the stability and growth of the Kingdom. Congregational ReportsGlencoe church of Christ, Alabama: Keith Ritchie (evangelist) reports, “We had 13 visitors this Sunday morning! We have three prospects and two Bible studies. We are in the process of changing the mailing area for sending out HTH. Lord willing, we will have new contacts/visitors/conversions in the near future. We appreciate all prayers for us as we labor in the kingdom!” Hatton church of Christ, Town Creek, Alabama: Chris Miller (preacher) reports, “We have several men who have been wayward who are now coming regularly as a result of our efforts. One of our men has as son who has really locked in to the youth group; we hope he will become a Christian soon. Our focus over the next month or so will be heavily upon the contacts our youth have submitted, which gives them an active role in our efforts.” Central church of Christ, Saraland, Alabama: David Dixon (preacher) reports, “We have noticed that weeks may go by with little progress on the evangelism front, but those are the weeks when consistency has to kick in. We continue to emphasize the bookmarks and contact cards during our assembly on Sunday morning. We continue to show the royal treatment to the visitors we have. We know that God will give the increase as long as we are sowing the seed. We will not stop!” Cedar Grove church of Christ, Andalusia, Alabama: Josh Halloway (preacher) reports, “We have seven regular Bible studies taking place. This week, we made several transition visits and had another congregational door-knocking on Saturday. We were able to make several new contacts in the process. We have begun advertising for our June VBS locally. This week we are sending out 48 cards, bringing the March total to 222 and the grand total to 4,648.” Fayette church of Christ, Alabama: Josh Taylor (deacon) reports, “We rejoice with the Shelnut family as Holden was baptized into Christ on Friday night! Holden is a great young man, and we are so proud of him. We continue to work on our assignments. We have invited our local Sheriff’s office to our Fifth Sunday worship and fellowship meal. We hope this effort is fruitful! We continue to send cards to our current prospects and hope to have good success with them! Please pray for us. To God be the Glory!” Petersville church of Christ, Florence, Alabama: Adam Richardson (preacher) reports, “We sent 11 compassion cards last week. We rejoice that William Whitehead decided to put the Lord on in baptism on Wednesday! He is a passionate student who wants to know more about New Testament Christianity. We have enjoyed getting to know him and his wife. He is ready to talk to others about the Gospel as well!” Creekwood church of Christ, Mobile, Alabama: Tucker Presley (preacher) reports, “We have had a few people visit with us who have received cards, and we are staying in touch with them. New movers’ baskets have been going out over the last couple of weeks, and we should be meeting soon to assemble baskets for March. One Bible study is still ongoing and another one may begin soon.” Northside church of Christ, Harrison, Arkansas: Larry Keener (elder) reports, “Yesterday was our first Sunday after the seminar. Steve Powers taught from John 4. David Glenn then passed out the post-seminar survey. Sunday evening was dedicated to questions and answers, watching a video of the flow chart, and encouraging the participation of all members. The upcoming weeks will be busy.” Bergman church of Christ, Arkansas: Vince Stewart (preacher) reports, “We have completed our post- seminar survey and passed out our first of training cards. We preached on introducing ‘the Model’ for members who did not attend the seminar. “At same time, the sermon served as a recap for those who did attend. In our Sunday evening worship service, we are going through the Back to the Bible booklets to show our members how simple it can be to conduct a Bible study, thus giving them confidence that any person who can read can conduct a Bible study. The leadership (Vince, Rick, Mike) meet on Sunday to plan for the next week. Our members are still excited and fired up. I am strongly encouraging them to stay fired up after each sermon, and we have begun to pray for this work every service.” Harrisburg church of Christ, Arkansas: Mark Weston (elder) reports, “Things are starting to feel like we know what we are doing. We still have a lot to learn, but we are certainly gaining confidence every day. Our training sessions with our coordinators are still going well, and Brock’s lessons on John were excellent. We had the opportunity to help one of our community members with mowing her yard this week. She had posted on Facebook that she needed help mowing her yard. She was willing to pay a little but could not afford much. We contacted her and told her that we would be glad to take care of her yard at no charge. She was so very grateful. We are just glad that we could help. I hope more doors like that will continue to open for us. Our Zoom meeting with our website designers went well this week, and hopefully that will start coming together soon. We had one small snag this week. Somehow, our local post office misdirected the cards we mailed. Unfortunately, that seems to be a common occurrence in our area. Tracking showed they arrived in Memphis on Wednesday and were set for delivery on Thursday. They did not show up, and when I tracked them, I discovered that they had been sent to Washington, D.C. On Friday, they were in North Carolina, and we knew they were not going to be delivered before our card-writing session on Sunday evening. I called Hannah, and she was very nice and concerned about the mishap. We have things worked out for the future shipments. God always takes care of things. We had enough cards and mixed a few others in and had plenty for this mailing; however, storms rolled through here Sunday, and we had to cancel our Sunday evening service for safety reasons. So our compassion card team did not meet. We had enough signed to get mailed Monday and Tuesday, and I will take some cards to a few members to sign on Wednesday. Our card group will meet on Wednesday evening, and we will finish up with no major issues. We are sending cards to 12 wayward members and one visitor. Our visitor was so nice. We presented him with our visitor bag, followed the script, and got contact information. He stayed around for 10 or 15 minutes after services, and our members really shared with him. He was unable to go to lunch, but he may go in the future. We will begin sending cards to him today, and we hope we can build a great relationship. I know that all of this is a process, and we have to let it work, but I cannot shake the feeling that we could or should be doing more. Brock is still in a Bible study with a young man, and we are praying that God will bless them. We will continue to do the program as we have been trained and trust the increases will come. We appreciate all prayers for focus and commitment that leads to saving souls!” Mountain Home church of Christ, Arkansas: Joshua Adams (preacher) reports, “This week, we focused on the importance of making meaningful connections with visitors. We’ve been blessed with many guests since the beginning of the year, and we’re working intentionally to help them feel welcomed and connected within the church family. My family had the opportunity to take a young couple and their two small children out to lunch after Sunday morning services. They’ve been attending since the start of the year and have expressed how much they enjoy being part of our assemblies. The member who first invited them is currently partway through Lesson 2 of Back to the Bible with them, and both have shared a growing interest in baptism. While I’m not directly involved in their study, the time together was a good reminder of how important it is for visitors to build multiple relationships within the congregation. I also had the chance to speak with an older visiting couple who come from a denominational background but have been attending with us recently. They mentioned how much they appreciate the biblical focus of the lessons and indicated they would be reaching out soon to schedule a time to talk further. In addition to these contacts, several other visitors have been attending with friends and are currently at different stages of Bible studies or spiritual conversations. We are prayerful and hopeful that these efforts will soon bear fruit. Our Compassion Card ministry remains active as well. On Sunday evening, twelve members stayed after services to write a total of sixty-nine cards. We are nearing the end of our current contact list and will soon be asking the congregation to help provide additional names. With Easter Sunday approaching, we are especially mindful of the many visitors who often attend then. We look forward to the opportunity to welcome them and begin building new connections.” Rison church of Christ, Arkansas: Keden Shrum (preacher) reports, “We had a wonderful day of worship on Sunday as Wade Webster was with us for our Spring Gospel Meeting. We were encouraged to have five visiting families with us! Three of these families were return visitors, so we are continuing to work with active contacts. Another family was visiting from a congregation a few towns away and came specifically to attend the meeting. The final family was a benevolence contact—a grandmother and her 10-year-old grandson, whom she is raising. She contacted the office last week seeking help with an electric bill and was encouraged to visit with us on Sunday, so we could also discuss her need. She mentioned that she did not have a ride to the services but had been wanting to attend. One of our elders and his wife were able to pick her up, and she attended Bible class as well as both services on Sunday. She expressed how much she enjoyed being with us and said she is looking forward to returning soon. She also shared that she has visited other ‘churches’ in the area but had never felt as welcomed as she did while worshiping with us. We are thankful for these opportunities and appreciate all prayers for the work in Rison.” Margaret Street church of Christ, Milton, Florida: Troy Spradlin (preacher) reports, “It is time for a congregational refresh and a reminder of the church’s purpose: to seek and save the lost. Due to ongoing large-scale building upgrades causing disruptions, and with most of the congregation’s focus on Lads to Leaders at the moment, Casey and I are planning some classes to help us reprioritize evangelism. Our congregation tends to move in cycles, so redirecting the focus to evangelism can be challenging, but it is essential. It is good to have a church that is always busy and working, but we must never forget her main priority, the ‘Great Commission’ (Mark 16:15). Our total 2026 Accountability Board numbers are: 80 Contacts Received; 38 Neighbors (Prospects); 234 Compassion Cards sent; six Bible studies; one Restoration, and three Baptisms.” Stuart church of Christ, Florida: Tom Neth (deacon) reports, “This week we were privileged to witness two baptisms and one restoration, and we give thanks to God for the way He continues to work in the lives of people in our congregation. Our card-writing efforts continue to go well. We have also added one additional ‘We are still praying for you’ card that we send to someone who has completed the three-week card cycle but has not yet responded. The congregation signs this card, and it is mailed about four weeks after they have finished receiving the original series of cards. It has been a meaningful way to let people know they are still in our thoughts and prayers. We are continuing to work on improving our handoffs and strengthening our visitor follow-up, ensuring guests are noticed, welcomed, and intentionally guided to the next step. So far this year, we have seen three baptisms and three restorations. Currently have two active Bible studies underway. We are thankful for the opportunities the Lord continues to place before us and pray that we will remain faithful in nurturing each connection.” Niceville church of Christ, Florida: Joe Palmer (preacher) reports, “I meet with the Greeters Leaders, and we have scheduled a Greeters Training for March 29. We had five prospects at church on Sunday morning. One new prospective member, one person I am hoping to return to the Body. We had a few out-of-town visitors. We sent 24 cards and had two Bible studies.” Warner Robins church of Christ, Georgia: Damien Walker (evangelist) reports, “Faith Youngblood obeyed the gospel Sunday evening. We rejoice with heaven. This marks the third baptism for our congregation this year! We are beginning to ramp up our efforts to get Bible studies going. We are still laying the groundwork so the congregation is equipped and on the same page with our mission. We have more contacts and prospects every week. The Lord is blessing us with activity. He is stirring up hearts to serve and preparing the soil of our neighbors’ hearts, and we are already reaping the harvest for Him.” Gray church of Christ, Georgia (remote): Keith Dixon (preacher) reports, “For this week, we sent 11 cards and had two Bible studies; we have four prospects. We feel like we are on the verge of showing people the grace of God and His mercy. We must remember, ‘Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not!” (Galatians 6:9). Cartersville church of Christ, Georgia (remote): Charles Harris (regional trainer) reports, “Bible studies with the lost are ongoing. Five Transition Visits were made last week. Five more will be made this week. We are on the verge of numerous baptisms taking place.” Woodstock church of Christ, Georgia: Matt Amos (preacher) reports, “WCOC and the Sunabella Assistant Living Facility devotional had approximately eleven non-Christians at the devotional on Sunday. The Prison Ministry Group has received word that we finally have a female volunteer cleared to lead the girls’ Bible study at the Youth Detention Center. The Compassion Card Group created and sent fourteen cards. WCOC had one Bible Study.” Jerseyville church of Christ, Illinois (remote): Jacob Medford (preacher) reports, “We did our second week of compassion cards using our new method, and it seems to be working well. We have 100 percent participation! The congregation is hosting a Gospel meeting at the end of this month, and it is all evangelism-themed. The congregation sent out 70 personal invitations for the event. Next up is getting our new movers program going!” Harrisburg church of Christ, Illinois (remote): Doug Berry (preacher) reports, “We had another visitor – a returning one from before we started sending cards. So we reached out to him again through cards. We had our first Bible study from a visitor who had received our cards, and it went well. We continue to reach out to our new movers. This month, we will have just five new movers. We also continue to seek prospects from members’ lists of contacts.” Collinsville-Troy church of Christ, Illinois: Jason Wright (evangelist) reports, “Servant of Souls (SOS) met yesterday, as we do every third and fourth Sunday. We discussed how to handle MDR. We went over page 3 in the booklet, which references 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, and then we looked at repentance as a condition for salvation. We also discussed the bookmark. Then we bundled invitation cards. We made 20 New Mover visits, with ten being delivered. We mailed 90 compassion cards. We conducted three Bible studies, with several being rescheduled. We appreciate prayers for those of us attending AMC Maryland.” Columbus church of Christ, Kansas: Matt Fowler (member) reports: “My wife and I completed Back to the Bible Book 1 with JD and Kristen. JD is one of my assistant football coaches, and this couple has been at the very top of my neighbor’s bookmark. The study went well, and we have scheduled the second study to take place in a couple of weeks. We request prayers for this study, especially because this couple, if converted, could be instrumental in bringing many to Christ. This past week, we had parent-teacher conferences, and I had some good discussions and was able to hand out four invitation cards to coworkers.” Beloit church of Christ, Kansas: Dustin Doughtery (preacher) reports, “I invited one of my prospects, Jason, to attend worship, but unfortunately, he had to work and was unable to attend. Hopefully, it will work out for him another weekend. We bought supplies to make up four more spaghetti baskets for new movers. They seem to be very well received by all of the recipients. I have been periodically reaching out to some of our members who have stopped coming, letting them know they are missed and we would love to see them again. I will be traveling this coming weekend to be with the Lord’s Church in Scott City, Kansas.” Madisonville church of Christ, Kentucky: Russell Kline (preacher) reports, “We have been in a Bible study for several weeks. We trusted God to give the increase if we sowed and watered. This past week, Anthony Kirby obeyed the Gospel.” Spring Creek church of Christ, Hickory, Kentucky: David Morse (elder) reports, “We continued to work on transition visits this past week. On Sunday morning, Samuel preached a message on evangelism from Job 3. Our Red group met the following morning to write compassion cards. Our leadership team members met this past Wednesday to discuss our prospect list. We decided that if our weekly compassion card writing falls below seven, we will add prodigals to the list, focusing on the most recent first. We hope to add additional Bible studies very soon. Our numbers for the week include visitors: 17, prospects: 19, cards written: 1,844, Bible studies: two, baptisms: five, and a baptism goal of seven.” Central church of Christ, Paducah, Kentucky: Adam Faughn (preacher) reports, “It is encouraging to see people working! We have once again arranged for a booth at our local farmers’ market that will begin in April. This week, we should procure a booth at our county fair in the summer. Each of these has been effective for us over the last couple of years, and we are praying we are able to make contacts in this way again.” Gonzales church of Christ, Louisiana: Ben Vallery (deacon) reports, “The following metrics are for Gonzales. Visitors: 13, Visits Made: two, Cards signed: Week – nine / Month – 53, Prospects/Neighbors: 15, Bible studies: five, Baptisms: three, 2026 Baptism goal: 20, New Movers Baskets Delivered: 0. Our new converts classes continue on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.” La Plata church of Christ, Maryland (remote): Eric Sykes (regional trainer) reports, Note: Add report or delete church name. Iuka church of Christ, Mississippi: Sam Glover (preacher) reports, “This week our members reported visiting with and sending cards to three couples in the area. Visits were also made with four individuals. In the following weeks, members have committed to follow-up visits and cards to all the aforementioned, as well as another couple and a new convert who struggles with consistent attendance (partly due to his age, but we want to make sure he knows that he is family and that we appreciate his presence and miss him when he is out). We would also like to request prayers, as the area is expected to be hit by fairly heavy storms and sudden drops in temperature.” Plainview church of Christ, Fulton, Mississippi: Tom House (preacher) reports, “We presented the lesson on ‘Reaching the Prodigal.’ We went through further training on the prospect list. We are beginning to see things come together. A Bible study is scheduled for this evening. We expect more studies in the near future. The Evangelism table is not ready yet. The cover is in the hands of someone who can professionally produce what we need. This visitor’s table should be operational by the end of the week. The card/visitation teams have been established, so cards should begin to go out in the next couple of weeks.” Fulton church of Christ, Mississippi: Richard Comer (deacon) reports, “We are trying to set up visits with those who have received the compassion cards we sent. We have reached out to a couple that has fallen away.” Aberdeen church of Christ, Mississippi: Jonathan Hagar (preacher) reports, “A sister in Christ was restored Sunday. She asked that I pray for her and her restoration to the church. It made me think of Peter and Simon the sorcerer, so this was definitely a restoration because restorations do not have to be someone walking down the aisle in front of everyone. She said that she was sorry for her lack of attendance, and she hates that she let the world distract her; she wants to focus more on coming to church and being faithful to God. To God be the glory! We had two return visitors Sunday, which is always encouraging. We also had a meeting this past Sunday night to brainstorm and talk about how we can help renew the evangelism fever in the church. I just finished my final sermon this past Sunday morning on church involvement and evangelism. This was a two-part series that was meant to complement Keno’s continued education training. We had more than usual Sunday night to talk about the series and the workshop, and brainstorm evangelism ideas and ways to get more people involved. We focused primarily on mentorship and how we can improve in that area. The metrics so far: three baptisms, two restorations, 22 Bible studies, ten prospects, 301 cards sent, and 40 visits made.” Oak Grove church of Christ, Missouri: David Wiesemann (elder) reports, “We have a large board our compassion card coordinator made to help prompt our congregation on what to write in the cards. We continue to build our processes and implementation of the plan. We had two visitors on Sunday; both were from out of town. Our congregation sent out 42 compassion cards. We also continue to send out the House to House publications.” Concord church of Christ, New Hampshire (remote): Shane Belanger (member) reports, “We are currently working with three prospects. Two of the individuals we are hoping to get into the Back to the Bible study sometime soon. The third individual is planning on finishing lesson three this week with the hopes that he will be baptized soon after.” Goldsboro church of Christ, North Carolina: Dennis Mays (elder) reports, “We had a wonderful week as Keno and Jamie Schrum were here, and we are reenergized and encouraged to do more in our efforts to evangelize. On Sunday, we had nine visitors, and one was a community visitor who had not been here before. This individual was given a visitor bag, and we got the information so this person could receive thank-you cards for visiting Oak Forest. Our coordinator for pew and door greeters will set up a time for them to practice being more effective greeters. Thank you, Keno, for being a great example of how we can do this better. On Sunday afternoon, the compassion card group wrote 99 cards. A person who received compassion cards last week contacted us and told us how wonderful it was to know people were praying for her. She said she had not received any cards from the church she attended. In talking to her, we found out she needed some help with cooking. A couple of families got together and provided a home-cooked meal for this family. Please pray that this will help us be able to have a Bible study with her. This Sunday, during our Bible school time, we had our second new converts class, and we had five in class. Another member, a relatively young Christian, will be joining us next Sunday. On Sunday evening, an elder began teaching the congregation how to use Believe the Bible, Supplemental Lesson A. This will help us interact more effectively with, and hopefully help, a person who does not believe in God to become open to further study with us and have a change of mind about God. The elders met and will be meeting with members who want to help us get involved in the community. We have identified a couple of families to be coordinators of this group and are planning to meet with this group to organize and implement community activities. We hope this effort will bring in more contacts and prospects.” Abilene church of Christ, Statesville, North Carolina: Gary Dull (preacher) reports: “We have started a new Bible study this week with Shelly; we are just finishing up the first book of Back to the Bible. It is going very well. We have several more sessions set up.” Glendale Street church of Christ, Newton, North Carolina (remote): Dayle Taylor (preacher) reports, “Prospects: BTTB studies have resumed with Brittany. It is reported that her heart continues to be tender toward the lessons (currently in Book 3). We request prayers for her, that she will not allow present life circumstances to circumvent her need to see and obey God. Our new convert’s daughter visited on Sunday morning and sat in with the new converts’ class. Following class, when asked if she wanted to know more about the church, she affirmed that she does. Additionally, she wants to bring a friend with her. We invited both to join members who are going bowling this Saturday. Prayerfully, it will serve as an introduction to us in a favorable light. New Converts: Our new converts have been absent from Sunday morning Bible study and worship for two consecutive weeks. After encouraging them again tonight not to allow life’s interruptions to determine their commitment to study and worship, it was agreed that they will attend both this Sunday. We continue to pray that neither our converts nor the church grow weary in well-doing. Restoration: Both of our restored members are faithfully attending worship services. At present, only one is attending Sunday morning Bible study. We continue to encourage our sisters and remain hopeful that class attendance will improve. Visitor Follow-Up. During this reporting period, 11 Compassion Cards were sent.” Marrietta church of Christ, Oklahoma: Chase Green (preacher) reports, “We had our first new converts class Sunday, March 15, with 14 in attendance. It was mostly new converts, with a couple of older members, and a couple of prospects who wanted to attend also. We are studying Leroy Brownlow’s book: Some Do’s and Don’ts for the Christian. We studied two chapters, and we will meet every other week until the book is finished, and then another member here will teach a second class. The first class went very well, and I believe that others are planning on attending the next one in two weeks. I am currently preaching approximately half of my sermons this year that coincide directly with our daily Bible reading plan. This seems to be received well so far. The goal is to shore up our Bible knowledge in defending truth from God’s Word. We also have our yearly lectureship coming up: Texoma Truth Series with the theme Scriptural Clarity in the Midst of Confusion. Jon Garza (regional trainer) plans to speak to us about this topic: Evangelism Doesn’t Have to Be Confusing. Caleb Rutherford (Roanoke, Texas) will be speaking to us on properly balancing truth and love. I have asked him to speak for a couple of moments before his lesson about the upcoming AMC campaign in Roanoke, Texas, with hopes that some of our members will attend. Please pray for the congregation at Marietta. We are slowly but surely building momentum and are ripe for growth.” East Sparta church of Christ, Magnolia, Ohio: Andrew Masterson (preacher) reports, “We hosted a community dinner this week where we made 27 new contacts. We handed out several VBS flyers and had a few families say they were looking for a church to attend. We will follow up with three Prospects next week. We currently have three Bible studies going. We had training this week on how to get the most out of our invitation cards. We shared the video on Random Acts of Kindness, and we are putting a plan into place this weekend to try it out. We are praying for good results!” New Concord church of Christ, Ohio: Terry Townsend (preacher) reports, “I am happy to report that Randy obeyed the gospel on Sunday. He has been attending regularly for almost two years. We had five first-time visitors on Sunday. Follow-ups with each of them will be made. We continue to prepare for our “All Attend Day” on the last Sunday in March. Calls and visits to all of our ‘prodigals’ are being made in hopes they will be with us and be encouraged to come back home. We are a little over halfway to our annual goal and only three months into the year!” Alkire Road church of Christ, Grove City, Ohio: Tony Dunnagan (member) reports, “We had four visitors and made one contact card. I do not have any results from our recent transition visits. We have a community food pantry tomorrow. We are sending 111 Compassion Cards to our prospects.” Grove church of Christ, Oklahoma: Juan Jarmillo (preacher) reports, “Evangelism summary: Sunday, March 15, we announced the official beginning of our evangelism effort, though the members have already begun working during the week by sending individual cards to visitors who had come in times past. It was amazing to see, as we had more visitors at our Sunday services than I have seen in my time at the congregation. I pray to God that we keep getting these opportunities, and that we will be able to seize them! We have also begun using the HTH personal bookmarks, and will begin praying for our personal contacts every week!” Guymon church of Christ, Oklahoma: Chandler Henderson (preacher) reports, “After attending three baptisms in a week, the reality of this becoming the ‘new normal’ is starting to sink in. It is amazing how powerful the word of our Lord really is! We are seeing contacts, prospects, Bible studies, baptisms, and new lives starting in Christ. When I was growing up, I do not remember leaving my house at 9:00 p.m. to go to a baptism on a random day of the week, but that happened twice this past week. Our kids are now growing up in that kind of culture, and I am very grateful for that! When we finally start believing that the power is all His and that His word and His gospel are His power unto salvation, that is when the lives of those in the church, and the lives of those being brought to the church, are truly changed forever. Last week, two of our Bible studies resulted in baptisms, and we had the privilege of attending a baptism at a neighboring congregation. Briar, Elona, and Taelyn’s names were all added to the Lamb’s book of life! Trust the process: follow Christ, the master evangelist, and just wait and see how much good He can do through His people when they finally decide to obey His word. We have seven prospects, five Bible studies, one restoration, and two baptisms.” Barnes church of Christ, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma: John Bellah (member) reports, “On Sunday, Gary Henson did the preaching and training about the unfaithful. We are working to establish a new culture of praying for those of our number who have left. We finished the week by sending 20 compassion cards to two people who are having health issues and need encouragement. The second round of cards was prepared yesterday, and we added two more prospects to our list, so we will be sending out nearly 40 cards this week. We are continuing to work through our training schedule while trying to maintain our momentum and still work on spreading out the workload and training individuals.” Coweta church of Christ, Oklahoma: Keno Shrum (Preacher) reports, “Our Spring Lectureship went very well. The theme was The Seven Ones from Ephesians 4. As I offered the invitation after my lesson on One Faith and One Baptism, Kesa came forward. She lives in Muskogee, approx. 20 miles away. She said she had been baptized at age 8 with no understanding of what baptism meant or what she was doing. Dustin and I took her into the library during the following session and went through Back to the Bible Lesson 3. She recognized what she needed to do and was baptized into Christ. She will continue to attend the East Side church of Christ in Muskogee, where she has attended for a number of years.” York church of Christ, Pennsylvania: Mark Rashke (deacon) reports, “We had a third consecutive week of high attendance, in the 60s, for 2026. We had some visitors who were members traveling from out of town, but nobody who was new to the Church of Christ. We are building success with our new evangelism teams by having fresh faces greeting visitors in the foyer, and asking additional people to be ready to hand out visitor bags. We have also begun looking into the Facebook ads that were the subject of last week’s video message—thank you to the folks who created the tutorial! We mentioned the bookmarks again during announcements and during prayer request time, and we had some good discussions about praying for and mentoring our new Christians.” St. Andrews Road church of Christ, Columbia, South Carolina: Jamie Byrom (preacher) reports, “We started the congregational training for Back to the Bible Book One in our AM sermon. This included having everyone complete their own religious survey before beginning the book. The evening sermon was about the Evangelism Table and the specific tools we have available to evangelize the community. We wrote 54 compassion cards for prospects going through life events, and we look forward to beginning our transition visits soon. We continue to have one in the new converts’ class. Birdwell Chapel church of Christ, Tennessee: Kerry England (elder) reports, “Since our food drive on the last Saturday in January, we have made a new friend. She has experienced the love of Christ shown to her by our members. She has attended services several times in the past few weeks and is interested in studying the Bible. Dale delivered two lessons on Sunday geared towards evangelism. Sunday morning’s lesson was on how to convict without offending. Sunday evening was spent on incorporating evangelism into our everyday life from Acts 8. Card Team 3 is mailing cards this week.” Collierville church of Christ, Tennessee: Justin Evergarden (evangelist) reports: “We have a total of nine new visitors. As of now, we have sent 348 cards. This week, we made three visits and have 24 prospects. At present, we are conducting one Bible study and have delivered 19 new mover baskets. Encouragingly, we had an additional visitor this Sunday, and we have already planned two visits for the upcoming month. We are optimistic about maintaining this upward momentum!” Hillcrest church of Christ, Springfield, Tennessee: Tim Taylor (evangelist) reports, “We had two baptisms last week! Ethan and Jace were baptized into Christ by Jonathan, one of our deacons. We look forward to watching them grow in their faith!” White Bluff church of Christ, Tennessee: Shamron Jackson (elder) reports, “We are sending 140 cards out this week. We had to move our transition visits to next Sunday. We had 11 visitors, five of whom went to lunch. We have three active Bible studies. We request prayers for this effort. The workers are working, so I know the results will come.” Freewill church of Christ, Gainesboro, Tennessee (remote): Andrew Scott (preacher) reports, “We were blessed with 58 in attendance and even had some visitors. We sent out two new sets of compassion cards for two new prospects. Our soul-saving efforts continue, and we give God the glory! I just scheduled lunch for April 4 with the ‘preacher’ at Life Church here in Baxter. I pray we can get into a Bible study.” Cookeville church of Christ, Tennessee: Joshua Kennedy (preacher) reports, “We sent out cards to five possible contacts. We also have several visits scheduled and two Bible studies ongoing. We are also going to get our door-knocking back up and running in April!” West Sparta church of Christ, Tennessee: Justin Turney (deacon) reports, “We have had two baptisms in two weeks! The man who was baptized this last week was one we have been studying with since last October, and we are so thrilled to see success coming from the program! We are thankful for all the help we have received.” Chapel Hill church of Christ, Tennessee: Matt Jones (deacon) reports, “We continue to work on reaching the lost. Just recently, one of our members visited someone who had been on our prospect list and had received cards. The visit went well, and they now have a new Bible study set up to start on Wednesday. We continue to pray for the other Bible studies that we have going as well.” Mountain Creek church of Christ, Chattanooga, Tennessee: Michael Tomshack (elder) reports, “The greeting stage not only has an impact on our guests but also on our members. Yesterday, one of our young adult women shared with me how great it made her feel to see our greeting team reach out to her brother and sister-in-law, who have drifted away from worship at another congregation for several years. Additionally, the number of people who came to greet them after the worship assembly made an impact, which, at times, can only be experienced when witnessed in actions with a close family member. First impressions are very important, and each genuine interaction builds trust that it is not for show; the congregation genuinely cares to share the truth of God’s word. We pray that this will lead to repentance and returning to fellowship with God and the congregation.” Soddy church of Christ, Soddy Daisy, Tennessee: Joe Mallory (preacher) reports, “Care Team 3 met to offer encouragement and compassion to those who have recently visited and whom we long to bring back into the fold. In our evening service, we challenged ourselves to take some of our extra House to House Heart to Heart issues, including the articles ‘What if I Am Lost?’ and ‘When Were You Saved?’ by Brother Wallin, and personally give one to a soul for whom they have been praying. We are also praying for continued growth in our evangelistic efforts and for opportunities to spread glad tidings of great joy in our community. Praise God for the Son of His love!” Arlington church of Christ, Tennessee: Bob Cooley (deacon) reports, “I finished the 3rd study with Chris and Morgan, and they were baptized Sunday, March 1st. That makes a total of 7 that have been baptized so far (5 this year). We don’t have any more studies scheduled. We continue to mail compassion cards out to new movers and visitors as well. We also sent congratulatory cards to the new converts.” Rivergate church of Christ, Madison, Tennessee: Doug Tooley (preacher) reports, “We had three visitors on Wednesday. We had seven visitors on Sunday morning and nine on Sunday night. We had a chili cook-off on Sunday night after service, and seven of the visitors stayed for the meal. One of the visitors, a thirteen-year-old girl, expressed interest in learning about baptism. I started a study with her last night.” Eisenhower church of Christ, Odessa, Tennessee: Alan Weakland (elder) reports, “On Sunday, several couples visited. The congregation welcomed them and made sure they felt at home. Our efforts in our new converts class are coming along. We are excited to see their growth and spiritual maturity. This coming weekend, we are holding our spring meeting with Aaron Gallagher, and everyone is excited about this effort. Flyers have gone out, and invitations have been distributed.” Centerville Road church of Christ, Garland, Texas: Alan Stevens (elder) reports, “The congregation sent 107 cards and prospected ten souls this week. The next step will be to establish visitor teams and transition teams. One ‘side effect’ we have seen is that six people have requested to identify with the congregation in the last two weeks. The Lord of the harvest can send out laborers into His harvest in unexpected ways.” Roanoke church of Christ, Texas: Caleb Rutherford (preacher) reports, “Group 1 wrote to three prospects on Sunday. A lot of our church family is out for spring break, but we still continue planning for AMC. We had another EDP meeting focused on what we need to do for AMC. Three studies continue to take place.” Bridgewater church of Christ, Katy, Texas: Doug Suggs (deacon) reports, “On Sunday afternoon, we met Jay, who had expressed a desire to be baptized. Chad taught him and asked John and me to meet him. We went to the building and studied with him some more. He was baptized and will return for follow-up teaching that he needs. I met with Christian and Mercy on Monday evening to go over how to teach Back to the Bible. We look forward to our meeting with Glenn Colley on the March 29 of this month. Our evangelist, Wade Webster, is preaching a gospel meeting in Arkansas this week.” Lake Country church of Christ, Burnet, Texas: Alex Simmons (preacher) reports, “The elders met with the preacher to go over the post-evangelism seminar surveys. Everyone has indicated interest in helping to serve in various areas, which is definitely encouraging. This week, there will be a leadership meeting to discuss goals, expectations, and the kinds of work that members are going to be working in particular areas. The initial contact cards are still getting filled in, but here in the next week or so, we will begin sending cards to our first prospects.” Wheeler church of Christ, Texas: Garrett English (preacher) reports, “We continue to write cards to those who are interested in studies and those who have lost loved ones, and we are praying for open doors for studies. We rescheduled our Living with Loss workshop for a date in April, which should bring in more contacts.” Stratford church of Christ, Texas: Chad Thies (preacher) reports, “This was a wonderful week. My daughter, Briar Thies, was baptized after months of study. We completed the John 4 Sermon Series. We are feeling more and more comfortable with getting operational with this model. We are making visits and making contacts with visitors and New Movers. We feel good about our prospecting plan of visitations and compassion cards. We will see how this goes, but I witnessed firsthand a guy that we are prospecting. I made two visits due to unique circumstances, and it was easy to see that he was much happier and friendlier on the second visit. It seems like his heart is being softened. We will see; we are eager to build up to the transition visits. Visitors: two, Prospects: seven, Bible Studies: three, Baptism: one, Compassion Cards Sent: five, Visits: five. We have two New Convert classes on Sunday morning and one on Wednesday evening.” San Saba church of Christ, Texas: Justin Bell (preacher) reports, “We had a transition visit with a sweet lady whom we have been prospecting for several weeks, and she has agreed to a Bible study, bringing our Bible study count up to six. We also added two prospects to our list, and currently we have seven prospects that we are working on North Jefferson church of Christ, Mt. Pleasant, Texas: Davin Whatley (evangelist) reports, “On Sunday, Colleyville church of Christ, Texas: John Garza (regional trainer) reports, “We have six ongoing Bible studies taking place. Lord willing, there will be much fruit to bear soon! This past Sunday, we had a visitor from another CFA about 15 minutes away. A couple of our older members invited a young man to worship, and he really loved it. With follow-up, I will be meeting with him this week for a coffee or a meal to get a Bible study set. Additionally, we are looking forward to our evangelism effort coming in a couple of weeks by giving out Bibles at a local park.” Northern Oaks church of Christ, San Antonio, Texas: Mel Hutzler (elder) reports, “Our new converts are bringing friends. This is very encouraging. Some have begun studying with their friends. We have an upcoming project with Freed-Hardeman University; we will be training and working with 26 people. We will provide a mental-health seminar according to the Bible, a free giveaway, door-knocking, and benevolence. We currently have four ongoing Bible studies and seven new convert studies. Our deacon in charge of evangelism has been mailing out correspondence courses. We are grateful to God for the growth we have been experiencing.” Seagoville church of Christ, Texas: Kodie Martin (evangelist) reports, “We are excited to be rolling out our New Movers Program. We taught the congregation what to do, and then I met with the coordinators/workers to set times. We will make baskets this Saturday, and in two weeks, we will have our first delivery! Aside from that, we have former members consistently returning as well as new families. One such family, the Millers, lives in the area, and one of our families began the process of getting to know them/inviting them to eat. It is satisfying to see the congregation follow the process! Lastly, I had a scheduled study with Elijah, a contact who was referred to us, but he never showed. We hope to reschedule, as well as follow up with other visits/studies.” Williamsburg church of Christ, Virginia: Jim Bishop (elder) reports, “We were blessed with a family who just moved to the area. The family was a member of the church in Florida. They will certainly be a blessing to the congregation and our evangelism efforts. We also had one local visitor who had just moved to the area. We will also have great opportunities for follow-up on prospects from our door-knocking.” West Side church of Christ, Salem, Virginia: Jeff Durham (elder) reports, “We are hosting several community events this spring and summer. On April 26, we will have a Financial Education seminar to help better equip folks as they manage their resources during these challenging economic times. May 30 is our Community Support Day (CSD), with a ‘Help Desk’ theme featuring local vendors/providers offering guidance on a variety of topics, including our own table with materials about the Lord’s church. We are going to try using Facebook advertising to promote these events, along with the other places we usually use. The purpose is to create more contacts/connections and generate Bible studies with the people in our community.” NOTE: These reports are from Christians and congregations enrolled in the House to House/Heart to Heart School of Evangelism.
