In high school, my band director would yell through his bullhorn, “Commitment gets things done!” He would preach it to us when we made mistakes or failed to practice. It was his go-to line when we made excuses.
When struggling with a problem or with motivation it is good to ask ourselves, “Am I really committed to this?” The church needs to ask this question today.
Many congregations are using the House to House/Heart to Heart program, but some are not using it effectively. Throughout 2022, HTH will share tips to better use HTH. These will be short, actionable items. It is our goal to help you reach the lost, and we hope we can motivate each other to remain committed to that goal.
The call Jesus issues in Matthew 4:19 is still true today. Come be fishers of men.
